Described by contemporary music portal Sequenza 21 as “epic, dark, and fun”, Young juxtaposes the element of play with intense sonic gestures to create a music of rich darkness and perverted poetry. With formal training in classical music and a keen eye for video and installation art, Young combines his diverse interests to create unique multi-sensory concert experiences. In The Third Pixel, Young turns old-school video games into a concert and an installation project that comments on the darker side of urban childhood. The factory-converted gallery, Osage Kwun Tong, will be temporarily transformed into an interactive video arcade doubling as a concert stage.
